I am really enjoying reading 'Hunting Blind' by the New Zealand author Paddy Richardson that came out last year. Quite a page turner. Time has been taken to read it, which has slowed down my Amazon searches for books to download to my new toy - a Kindle. This is a good thing as I have spend far too much time browsing and not enough time writing..but I am getting back to it now. Although -I've just read on Crimewatch that Ben Sanders (he of'Fallen') has his second book out soon. I can't fit in all in - keeping up with new works by good New Zealander writers, and writing, and all the others things, like work, and the grandson).
I'll continue to do my bit and buy real books by New Zealand authors though and I am off to buy Sarah Quigley's new book - fortunately for me, I have a great local bookstore 'Dear Reader' around the corner. How convenient!
Update: Never trust me in a bookshop. Not only did I buy the Quigley book, but I also bought the Owen Marshall novel on the Larnachs.
